Benefits of Membership

Dental offices that are members of Club Lares will receive the following benefits from Lares during the membership term:

Unlimited no-charge repairs for Lares brand handpieces and Perceptive electric motors purchased directly from Lares by the member dental office and owned by the same office. Lares handpieces purchased or otherwise obtained from third parties do not qualify for free repair.
Club Lares member repairs will be made before non-Club Lares member repairs.
Club Lares member handpiece repairs will be returned using faster USPS Priority Mail with 2-3 day shipping nationwide.

Rules Of Membership

To gain Club Lares membership, the dental office must place an initial order for all the carbide burs, diamonds, prophy angles and prophy paste (the “handpiece consumables”) used by the office in a 3-month period for shipment within 60 days from the date of initial membership.
To maintain membership, a pending order for the handpiece consumables must always be in the Lares system for delivery no later than 90 days after the previous order, subject to adjustment and confirmation by the customer 30 days prior to shipment.
If the next planned handpiece consumable order is cancelled or delayed more than 30 days, or reduced more than 20%, Club Lares membership may be terminated. (Subject to Lares discretion if the dental office is temporarily closed due to dentist health problems or local disaster). Any handpiece repair charges incurred by the customer but provided free since the last consumables delivery will be invoiced to the customer.
Membership is limited to general dentistry or pedodontic practices that routinely perform prophylaxis and restorative dentistry.
No-charge repairs are limited to handpieces less than 7 years old. Handpieces that reach 7 years of age must be replaced through the purchase of a new product.
Handpieces must be maintained according to the instructions for use.
Handpieces subjected to abuse, misuse, or neglect, or subject to modification in any way, are not covered by the free repair benefit.
Free repairs are provided for only Lares brand handpieces and only Perceptive electric motor systems. ProStyle E electric motors and contra angles are excluded.
Dental office must purchase all their prophy angles/paste, burs/diamonds requirements from Lares except those bur or diamond types not available from Lares.
Lares may terminate Club Lares membership for a dental office immediately at its sole discretion.
Each dental office must provide Lares with the number of dentists practicing (full time equivalent). Based on the full-time equivalent number of dentists performing dentistry in the dental office, the following minimum annual purchases of consumables must be made to maintain Club Lares membership and each account will be monitored for compliance:
- 1-dentist practice: $4,000/year
- 2-dentist practice: $8,000/year
- Etc.
- The amount set for each dental office will be adjusted for part-time dentists.
